more on fairness

4:00 So they might agree with you all the way until "but what about my job? and MY opportunities?" that's usually where I get stuck talking to people, though I like to point out that we do have a shortage of tech experts so there should be enough jobs for everyone, right? 4:02 Do you include the very silly and ridiculous example of the Amazon automated hiring algorithm that threw out all female candidates? One thing you taught me about writing is to make the reader feel smart, not defensive. So maybe kind of write to the reader like "of course you would check for something as ridiculous as that before launching your code!" idk, make it about Amazon being stupd 4:07 And if you're feeling extra up to it, you might add a sentence about working with/hiring neurodivergent programmers :slightly_smiling_face: Some links: https://www.fastcompany.com/3062835/microsoft-autism-hiring https://news.microsoft.com/stories/people/kyle-schwaneke.html
