I'm on Windows 10 and I never get past please wait.., screen. It's been like that for more than 20 mins how much I had it open... nothing happened.

I have the same problem. It produced by a Peer Missing error in your package.json file. npm ls return a specific format for dependency with Peer Missing.

I made a patch. @gurayyarar, I can push it .

I have similar infinite loading issue also. It appears when try load package.json from https://github.com/livepeer/LivepeerDesktop And I have no idea what exactly causing this error.
