Realistic Photos?

Hi, sorry if this is the wrong place to ask... Love the workflow... Is it possible to use realistic photos with it? I updated to the latest version and used photos of 4 of my friends. It usually doesn't look anything like them. Sometimes it turns them into girls. Any suggestions to make it look just like them? If not, maybe in a future version? Thanks!
