I can confirm the issue on Arch Linux with TGL Intel iGPU. Reverting the commit all works fine in Chrome/chromium (anyway vainfo has no errors with or without the commit)

I confirm the bug on Manjaro

Thank you very much! I dont care kconfig for now, default options are ok for me, I will eventually change source code. Or, if present, the values in kwinrc.
