I tried something similar to what @felixkrautschuk did, and I also wasn't able to get the tap event to raise on Android.

This happened to me too recently. I have my `showUserLocation` tag set to true, but when the map loads for the first time, asks for permissions and when approved, nothing...

My bad, I couldn't find it in the gallery. What about something like this?  Thank you!
