Lenovo Y500 Max Brightness is slightly below the real max brightness...

When brightness keys are maxed out and I press them for the first time on max then the max brightness is slightly below the actual max brightness it is capable of.

sys_vendor: LENOVO product_name: QIQY5

detected max: 0x4650 detected min: 0x384

sudo modprobe nvidiabl max=0x7000 seems to be the correct max brightness. Only the last step in the brightness slider doesn't seem to be changing anything. So I think it is still a tad too high. Any suggestions ?
