Brightness keys not work KDE

Hi, It looks like the backlight keys are controlling someother the backlight interface provided by the nvidia binary drivers. Hence I am able to only get the top 3 brightness levels . I am able to control it by catting into the /sys/class/backlight/nvidia_backlight/brightness file , but problem is that everytime I go full screen, any app , it goes to full brightness again.
