change password of the download page

I would like to have the ability to change everytime the password where the file is stored when I use filelink.

It's possible to implement a popup with a random password or a request of a new password (and the possibility to paste inside the mail) every time filelink is used?

I was thinking about that feature as well. This feature totally make sense! +1

I think a default of pasting the password in the email is, though convenient, a terrible idea with security in mind. If the email is unencrypted, the link and the password are sent in the clear _together_, meaning theoretically anybody can gain access to the file.

If an option is eventually added to provide this functionality, I suggest it should default to not pasting by default, and if enabled should present a warning requiring second confirmation.
