Unexpected behaviour of marching cubes

A shape I made that is symmetrical became asymmetrical when I turned marching cubes on. Is this how marching cubes are supposed to work or is it a bug? v mc

Might be a bug yes. Would be interesting to compare with other marching cube implementations like the one used by magica voxel.
