Guild Banner
Idea : Allow the guild leader to insert a banner in the / g info menu (name given automatically in the config> Guild Banner {guild} Members can then by clicking on it, buy the banner (configurable price in the configuration)
Any update on this? Cause im considering buying the plugin but i really need this to work to be usefull.
This is pretty cool and it got lost because of another one... #350 I would 100% prefer this implementation. :wink:
This would be a great for my server! Please, do this! It would allow my players to have so much creative freedom with guilds! Any idea when this will get officialy on the plugin?
This is actually a great idea! It would allow people to create their own designs and make the guilds unique!

Come on it has been 3 years since this was requested... I see new versions that are younger then this request... No dev will pay attention to this? We're talking about a premium plugin not a free one...
The developer is very inactive and has not added any functionality for a long time. It just fixes some "bugs".
I would be open to considering this again if I had more information on how all of this would work. Also, as wolfe said, #350 was also another similar suggestion for this but I need to understand more on how this system should work before I can go in and do anything.
My idea lays on:
- On the guild menu you could customize your own banner and add it has a visual identification of the guild witch could work as a shop where u buy the banner or the shield of it and make it configurable to ranks, meaning only above rank X could get it;
- Be able to wear the banner on top of the head (like with /hat command) that would be amazing for guild wars, the banner could be toggleble out the arenas and forced inside them;
- I recommend using like a GUI menu to create banners since the lure as some limitations or letting the user toggle that menu in config
- Other then this it would be more like a cosmetic feature where players can be creative and have their own cool banners.
If any1 has more cool ideas post here! These are my ideas for it :)
PS If the GUI menu is too complicated you could also craft a banner and do like /guild banner create and it would turn it into the guild's banner.
Possible commands: Main: /guild banner
/guild banner - help on banner commands /guild banner toggle - turns on/off banner above head as on /hat /guild banner create - adds the banner on hand to the guild making it the guilds banner /guild banner create [link] - uses minecraft.tools links to upload a banner directly to the guild without needing to craft one /guild banner buy - buys the banner /guild banner buy shield - buys the banner on a shield /guild banner remove - removes the banner leaving it as a default blend white one /guild banner rank [rank] - defines the minimum rank you shall have to be able to buy the banner and toggle it
And permissions for each command like guild.banner.[command]
My personal idea:
- It replaces guild skulls as the default display item for /g list
- I personally don't like the idea of being able to purchase it, sounds far too niche and more for DeluxeMenus e.t.c
- Being forced to create the banner in game before being able to use it is cooler than being able to abuse the links to create heavy / complex banners.

100% agree on the 1st point. About the 2nd point maybe make it configurable (the buying option) About the 3rd point 100% agree! firts u create a normal banner then u could like buy-out the option to use the links or so.
