Favicon as profile image
seconding this! it would be really lovely. i think there should however be some kind of report functionality such that you as a bot host aren't suddenly hosting a bot that has some fucked up profile avatar
When you find new RSS data (or maybe when you look regardless of updates?), you can also check for new favicons and update profile pictures accordingly.

I've been giving this more thought and I still don't fully like the idea of including favicons. This would mean that the Parrot needs to store and serve media as well (which it currently does not do). It would add two risks: (1) automatically relaying inappropriate content into the Fediverse and (2) possibly raising copyright issues by re-posting favicon images.
However, recently I had the idea that the Parrot could extract the key colors from the favicon and associate an RSS icon with each account whose three elements (the dot and the two arcs) mirror the favicon's colors. This would help with differentiation in a playful, safe and low-resource way.
