It's a pretty good idea but not required. If you want to do it you could fork the repo and submit a PR with the changes

I'd like to work on this. @n8fr8 You appear to have reverted the icon back to the original for the normal / adaptive launcher icon. Do I use the new or the old icon for the monochrome drawable?
