lildebi Recent Debian images?

Hi

Is it possible to provide recent Debian images? Squeeze cant even connect to most of the repos in the image :( Not sure if it is apt sources issue or something else.

github doesn't provide a place for us to post them anymore. Luckily they are easy to make. Use dd to create the image file, then mkfs.ext4 to format it, then debootstrap to install Debian on it. This will work on any Debian/Ubuntu/etc machine, and perhaps even OSX and/or Windows.

install_path=/path/to/my/imagefile.iso
dd if=/dev/zero of=$install_path seek=600 bs=1M count=1
mkfs.ext4 $install_path
etc...

Thanks for the info. I will try. But it would be nice even if you put somewhere else on the web.

Btw do you know if Jessie or other unstables work on Kitkat?

I think making a wiki page to collect links to pre-prepared images is the best solution.
