How about a feature that will allow the device to sound an alarm (including flashing the torch) several seconds after detecting motion above some threshold? I understand that the original intent of the app is to monitor, but actively alerting a potential perpetrator to the presence of the surveillance device may in some cases cause them to go away.

Sounds good, easy enough. Some input on this would be nice:

• Disable alarm using passcode/biometric?
• Alert message w/attached image when alarm turns on ?
• Trigger alarm from web server option?

I would recommended a delay. Catch the whole incident without interruption, then let them know they’ve been made.

I’d also want to ensure this data is safely stored before compromising the device, as it’s likely to be broken, reverse engineered, etc. Including image in notification would ensure a copy exists on your end.
