Feature request: during playback, show time and progress slider all the time

When reviewing the logs, you can drill down into events like captured video.

During the playback of captured video, is there any reason to not have the progress bar on the bottom of the screen the whole time? Tapping will bring up that progress bar, but it doesn't cover any part of the screen used for playback of the captured video. Nothing is lost by showing the bar the whole time, is there?

Alternately, it would be possible to the progress bar by default as video launches, to give the user a sense of the file length, but then allow it to fade away. (Most folk will understand that they can get the progress/slider bar back by tapping.)
