Requirement to create & populate a dynamo table is excessive for local running
As @dominickendrick just found out, even if you want to run the status app locally to experiment with it to see if it meets a project's needs, you need to get the oauth secret and create a dynamodb table.
This creates unnecessary hoops for teams to go though, before they've even decided whether they want to run it on a public url.
