Frontend:

On frontend the top nav is collapsed, but on dcr it's huge and obtrusive.

This has been reported again by user help on 21/11/23

image

Device: Android 13, Pixel 7 Browser: Chrome

When asked why the user requested the desktop site on mobile devices, the user gave the explanation

"I read all online newspapers (that's quite a few) in the desktop layout (only with The Guardian has this problem) because I find the mobile versions tedious. I have no choice but to scroll through a long list of articles, most of which i am not interested in. In the desktop mode I can scan a page, much like i would with a paper newspaper, and go to the articles i wish to read."
