Hi, Chromecast support would be awesome! No.1 missing feature from Chromecast is playback of local videos with subtitles. And you can change that!

I'm willing to pay for that feature, I have already flattered your awesome app.

Hi, thank you for your support. I'm planning this feature but there are two main problems:

  1. I currently do not own a Chromecast :-)
  2. Chromecast API are currently not supported in Packaged Apps While waiting to fix these problems (the first is easy) you can use the hosted version of the application and use the chrome extension that allow any web page to cast to your Chromecast.

Wow, I didn't know about the hosted app! I just watched an episode of HIMYM on my TV through your app and it was awesome! Good FPS as well. Look:

It think you are missing an great opportunity here - repackage the hosted app as "Local video player with subtitles for Chromecast", remove all the texts not related to Chromecast and release it to the store. It's no.1 missing Chromecast feature and you can get famous quickly. You have the technology, now marketing :)
