share system navigation behavior for logged in users
This login button, once used, currently returns you to the share page you were browsing. From there, there doesn't seem to be an obvious way to get to the rest of the now logged in users files; and, while browsing via the share link, despite being logged in, there is no access to file options (upload, create, move).
From the share page; If you click on the username/settings icon, opening the settings page, then close the settings; you are returned to the path '
I think it would make more sense to redirect to the users files/homepage on login, perhaps navigated to the file path of the share (if and only if they have permission to access it while logged in). This would negate both issues.
FYI @Darkassassin07
I think this was resolved in 0.8.8
@gtsteffaniak sry to keep bugging you about this one, but things still aren't quite right.
V0.8.10
While viewing a share link, click login and enter creds, you are returned to browsing via the share link, but authenticated.
From here you do not have access to file move/edit/upload tools. Perhaps this is intended, but it would be more streamlimed to have them imo.
There also doesn't seem to be a direct way to return to the users homepage (host.name/files/<default source>). If you click on the users name, you are brought to their settings page. You can then exit their settings but are mistakenly brought to '/files/undefined'. Re-entering settings then exiting a second time will correctly return you to '/files/<default source>`.
As a final note; every page has a three line icon in the top left corner (pic below), that doesn't seem to do anything, perhaps this could be utilized as a 'home' button?
🤦 That last bit: I always have sticky mode enabled. Forgot the sidebar collapses with that when sticky isn't enabled.
in some ways this is solved in v1.1.0-beta via custom sidebar links. If you could add a link to go anywhere in the sidebar. Let me know what you think
