gtkwave plugin/add-on/extensions

Hi,

I am working on gtkwave and I want to develop a plugin which would make signals debugging quite easy, just a button inside the GUI which launch a window that will allow me to select two signals and some logic or mathematic calculations on them. and the end add the result signal to the waveform.

any idea would be appreciated.
