"oc cluster up" and I get "-bash: oc: command not found"

I am having an issue. I am following a pretty straightforward instruction on https://github.com/openshift/origin/blob/master/docs/cluster_up_down.md but I keep getting the following error:

oc cluster up -bash: oc: command not found
