failed to run custom build command for `ring v0.13.5`

ring v0.13.5 doesn't work on an m1 Mac.

I've used this for the last couple of years and love it. zm had become second nature and invaluable. I don't know enough about Rust to debug as of yet, so I thought I'd submit this in case it was a simple fix.
