separate "new file" and "new folder" dialogs
⚠️ This issue respects the following points: ⚠️
- [x] This is a enhancement/feature request. Not a bug or question.
- [x] The topic is not already reported at Issues. (I've searched it).
- [x] Markor is up to date. See Releases for the latest version. Updates are available from F-Droid and GitHub.
- [x] The wanted feature/enhancement is not present in the latest development version (git master). (Please download and try the test version of Markor, named Marder. Don't worry; Markor and Marder appear as completely separate applications. You can install both side-by-side, and Markor's settings are not touched. If your desired feature is present, you don't need to open this issue. The change will be part of the next Markor update.)
Description
Markor v2.14.1 has a confusingly unified "create new file or folder" dialog, where all fields are visible reguardless if creating a new file or folder, but most only apply to creating a new file and not a new folder.
we could have completely separate "new file" and "new folder" dialogs like in file managers, but that makes most sense when files are created roughly as often as folders.
because Markor is a text editor, we know that files are created much more often than folders. so Markor could benefit from an UI design that allows creating a file in 1 click less than a folder.
such an UI design could be a "create new" dialog with the tabs "file" and "folder".
the thing that Markor v2.14.1's confusingly unified "create new file or folder" dialog does well is that the user doesn't have to copy‑paste the filename if they decides to create a folder instead — or copy‑paste the folder name if they decides to create a file instead. in the tabbed dialog, this could be achieved by syncing the "filename" field in the file tab with the "folder name" field in the folder tab
