When scrolling through threads you see a white background in place of the thumbnail
Try force-closing and upgrading to f-droid version 2.0.4 which has memory fixes.

I was on /g/ at the time bit it happens on every board

I'm not seeing any white thumbnails running chanu 2.0.7 on 4.0.3. If you are rooted please provide a logcat the next time it happens because i'm not able to reproduce it on my own.

I don't see anything in there that helps :(. Does this happen immediately or do you have to browse for a while before it goes white? When you click the white thumbail does the app crash? Does it also happen with images in the board view or only in a thread?
Happens immediately on ever board. It doesn't crash and it only happens when viewing threads and only the OPs picture

It could be a timing issue perhaps or memory not being allocated when it first loads. The initial thread OP loads first then the whole thread. That would be where to look.

No luck. But I've been thinking is there a way to make it so only the OPs image auto loads since the white screen only effects it.
