feature: Support trace-resolving
It would be great to support resolving as a trace from the root-servers, like "dig +trace" does. Showing all the steps will make it easier to see which part is wrong in case of hostnames not resolving and incorrect results. This will also allow to see the involved nameservers and probably contact them directly with more in-depth queries for debugging.
I do like the suggestion. With the newly introduced EDE support we can get some feedback on resolution issues from resolvers that support it, but a full traversal check within androdns would be cool. Given that I rarely find the time to work on androdns and this however likely not gonna pop up soon(tm).
Meanwhile, to debug such issues I suggest to use websites like dnsviz.net / zonemaster.net / dns.squish.net
