Tracking Issue for InProcessTransport being Experimental.

There is no plan to make this API stable.

Specific usages:

  • InProcessChannelBuilder
  • InProcessServerBuilder

given the potential anonymous inprocess channel #1953, keep it unscheduled.

Annonymous stuff was dropped, so no longer a blocker.

InProcessServerBuilder

Can you tell me please how we can replace it?

You don't need to replace them, you can continue to use them. We understand that these APIs are used extensively for tests, and while we reserve the right to make changes to the API, for now there are no plans to change them and we will in the future make every effort to minimize any impact. When/if we do have plans to change them, the plans will be conveyed in this issue.
