Great Project! I am trying to research how to install couchdb and greenscreen.

Can you help provide instructions step by step for installing on a windows machine?

Thanks,

Tyler

Here's a guide to setting up Node on Windows and a guide to setting up CouchDB on Windows.

Please let me know if these resources help you get up and running -- if so, I'll add them to the README.

When I'm running it on a windows machine, everything works except that all data given from Angular shows up as blank in the browser whenever I'm running it on a machine other than an OSX based one. I've tried running it on a DO instance with Ubuntu, with the same result. Everything is stored according to Futon though.

Are there any particular instructions?

I have the exact same issue as rickardl. Would be awesome if this gets fixed.

This is my first experience with node and couchdb so I'm sorry if this is a terribly stupid question. Where are you supposed to put the greenscreen files? Installing Node and Couch DB was very easy but its the part in between that isn't super evident to me and I can't really find any relevant help on the Node site or via google

Just to let everyone know, I've given up on this project a long time ago, this isn't a critical project for Groupon, obviously they aren't using it themselves anymore and reading the news doesn't turn up well for the company itself either.

We've migrated over to Dashkiosk https://github.com/vincentbernat/dashkiosk, a very performant project with a better architecture for handling digital displays.

Try it out, it's really good!
