Describe the solution you'd like If you search a route. you get several public-transports you have to take. Many times you miss a train or wish to drive later. Please allow to select a public-transport from the route and get other ways on this part of the route. If you select it the whole route get updated and later transports recalculated.
Describe alternatives you've considered search new routes.
I can confirm this, especially for long journeys using only short-distance trains.
bahn.de and presumably also its app "DB Navigator" show alternative routes, for example, if I might miss one of my connecting trains due to a delay or have already missed one. Sometimes the alternative route then looks like this: I am advised to stay on a train longer so that I can make suitable connections at another station. This means that the availability of the planned route is checked and updated during the journey.
