Time selection is not implemented/does not work (Android 5 only)

Open ghost opened this issue 6 years ago • 11 comments

Describe the bug To select a time of my journey I click the clock at the right upper corner of the program and choose a time. But it unfortunately searches just for journeys right at the moment.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open Transportr and select a time different from now.
  2. Select start and destination.
  3. The program selects transports for now.

Expected behavior Search for journeys at any selected time.

Versions (please complete the following information):

  • **Transportr Version: 2.0.1
  • **Device: Sony Xperia
  • **Android Version: 5

Sorry, I can't reproduce this. It works as expected for me. Can you please provide more steps to reproduce and also screenshots along the way?

I encounter the exact same problem. Ever since I installed Transportr it always only searched just for journeys right at the moment, regardless of the time I choose with UI.

Here are some screenshots:

  1. I try to find an itinerary and find by default results for "now":

  2. I change the time to something much later (10am):

  3. After pressing OK, the resulting itineraries are still for "now", and not for the chosen time (10am):

If I can provide any additional information that may help investigating, do not hesitate to ask.

and thanks for transportr, it's really great!

What Android phone do you have? What version of Android?

Is the selected time never used or only sometimes not? Does it work for showing the departures from a station for a given time?

@Ezwen Thank you for the screenshots, mine are the same.

The selected TIME is never used, though I can select another DATE but the time stays at now. Departures also don't work with different times, so it looks like it is the same bug.

  • Phone: WIKO Ridge 4G (https://www.gsmarena.com/wiko_ridge_4g-7113.php)
  • Android: 5.0.2 (note: I removed all google apps)
  • The selected time is never used.
  • As @Violinchen mentionned, departures time are also not working

Maybe it depends on the Android version? I know that it works properly on Android 7 but not on my Android 5.

I just had the chance to try this on an Android 5 phone and unfortunately it worked fine there.

It is still not working and I don't know more information about it.

Sorry but without a way to reproduce the issue, there's little I can do about it.

Do you use Google-Android or Lineage OS? On Lineage OS it worked but not on a Google-Android device.

Tried it on an Android 5 device with Google and an emulator image.
