Can't select multiple layers using Shift + click

I want to select multiple layers at the same time to move them or delete them.

A reasonable request. It will take some work to allow selected.component to be an array. In this case, I would expect the Properties on the right hand side to only show a delete action. Although, it might be interesting to allow selecting multiple components of the same type and then set their properties at one time.
