Automatically display external subtitles

Newly released videos sometimes come with external subtitles. Would it be somehow possible to integrate them into the plugin and show them automatically? I know, that hardcoded files are uploaded by dramacool at a later point, but it would be nice to have subtitles from the beginning. :-)

External subtitles is already support in the addon but this was tested a long time ago. Does it not work anymore?

Oh, I did not know it was implemented already, sorry. I tested it with the latest episode(9) of Red Balloon. This video has external subs at the moment and they are not shown with my setup. Kodi 19.4 Android with 3.0.4

The link might have changed. This would need some investigation on what domain is being used for fetching the subtitles.
