For Gentoo

Can it be adapted to work with Gentoo. I have tried to emerge but error emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "sys-boot/grml-rescueboot"

Do Gentoo ISOs provide the GRUB loopback.cfg integration? If so, then it should be possible (you can try with naming a Gentoo ISO like grml-gentoo.iso, put it into /boot/grml/ and see what it does). Otherwise it's not on us but on Gentoo folks. :)

Installing it on Gentoo should be possible if someone writes an ebuild and submits it to gentoo.

Oh, good point, I was assuming that it's about Gentoo ISOs and not about using grml-rescueboot on a Gentoo systems. :)

Would be nice if someone would provide an ebuild for usage on Gentoo, I'd like that :)
