[Feature Request] Different game versions with a drop-down
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Nope!
Describe the solution you'd like A way to choose different versions of the same games with a drop-down menu
Describe alternatives you've considered Individual games in the Gameyfin library
Additional context Building up my Gameyfin library for LAN parties, and have different versions of the same games available for download currently (i.e. Quake II Enhanced & Quake II). Would be an awesome feature to have if it was possible to condense the two games into a single "Quake II" Gameyfin entry, and have the ability to choose between downloading different versions (folders within the root game folder). An option to select if a game has multiple versions in the settings would be a good way to enable the feature. My idea for a potential folder structure:
Quake II/ ├── Quake II Enhanced (2023)/ │ ├── quake2enhanced.exe │ ├── bin/ │ ├── etc/ │ └── otherfiles/ ├── Quake II (1997) ├── quake2.exe └── bin/
While this is certainly a nice feature to have, I think implementation isn't as straightforward. The problem (as often) is that Gameyfin can't know when a folder is the root folder of a game vs. when it's just a folder containing more games. Thats why Gameyfin only scans the top-level directories of each library. This conflicts with your request.
