Yes it could be enhanced, but I really got no time/motivation to spend on this project right now. I'll gladly accept any patches.
OK,I didn't implement the RSpec stuff and I will not repair it myself as I don't use RSpec. Please fix this and pull request if you got time and motivation.

OK. Actually passed my mind to propose a move towards both Web and Desktop (i.e. using [Electron](http://electron.atom.io/)) with same code base, and so offline makes sense. Will have a look...

OK, should be a minor fix but will see when I got time too look at it because deadlines and summertimes. :)
@redox The Hex Unicode value is already in the uploaded search index `batch.json` records, so I would assume only and index on that field is missing?
