Text fields retain focus even when a modal is shown

Editing is blocked when the connection from the WebSockets server is lost. This is exhibited by a modal with the error message asking to immediately refresh the page. But even then the textboxes retain focus.

This issue is found in document title textbox, cell name textbox and cell contents textbox.
