where is MDS in GT6

Sorry, I am a newbie on globus, and don't know whether raising an issue for this question here is appropriate or not. I seach via google and get no answer, so hope someone here can give me a hint, thanks in advance.

In GT4, MDS builds on GRIS and GIIS, but in GT6, it seems that no such a service any more, what happens?

When comparing the GT 4.2.1 documentation to the GT 5.0.0 documentation it seems that MDS was gone with the Globus Toolkit version 5 already. The corresponding release notes do not mention MDS. It was most likely part of the Web Service components that were discontinued with GT5, quoting the above mentioned release notes page:

Note GT5 does not include any of the Web Service components from GT4.

hi fscheiner, thank you very much for your help. Do you know is there any way to construct a service like MDS does if I want to build a system basing on GT6?
