[v0.1] BOM simplification
Might be nice to reduce the unique BOM items for the sake of making it easy for DIYers to prep materials.
None of these should have functional impact:
- R22 and R24 could be 1K (equal to R7); although check the datasheets to ensure the I2C current isn't too high.
- R3, R4, R19 and R20 could be...pretty much anything. 35.7K seems like a good choice (matches R13/R14)
- Unless you're trying for accurate color reproduction, you can make R21 and R23 the same value (they're within 5% anyway), probably 590 ohms.
- Depending on whether or not you value BOM count over complexity, R15 could be split into two resistors in series, equal to R16 (same with R17 vs R18)
- Similarly, R25 could be a 1K (R7/R8) and a 4.75K (R5/R6) in parallel.
Fun fact: some of the weird resistor values (51.1k on the ID pin) were due to BOM reductions with respect to an early version of the Type-C spec that had different CC resistor values.
