Anything with biomass results in error
I've tried several plans, including just biomass, and they all produce this error:
Unfortunately we couldn't calculate any result. This can be due to many things: missing resource required for the production line, not enough resources for the requested amount, disabled recipes required for the product, etc.
Since biomass cannot be harvested automatically, Tools don't know how to make it.
You can add it manually as an input in "Items, Input" section, then it should work.
Looking at the other tabs, it could be that none of the precursor resources are listed (leaves, wood, mycellium, alien sample).
Maybe you need a machine called "Pioneer" :)

Data for machines, items and such is generated automatically from game files, I don't really want to add things to it manually, or hardcode it
I'm getting the same message for Plutonium Fuel Rod. It seems to be present in the recipes - and I can't see anything in the recipe that would cause it to be invalid (And I haven't disabled any recipes). Am I doing something else wrong?

You need to input uranium waste, Tools don't know how to make them.
I'm getting the same error as well but for Turbo Fuel. Though it works if the Turbo Blend Fuel alt recipe is enabled.
Turbofuel needs compacted coal recipe enabled as well (except for turbo blend)
Ah sorry, got confused about what was considered an alt recipe. I also had to enable the Turbofuel recipe :)
