Connector does not work with organization/private repositories

I have created an organization within github and added a private repository. The repository URL is structured as this: https://github.com/ORGANIZATION_NAME/REPOSITORY_NAME.

The connector was not able to connect to the github issue system for this repository.

I'm seeing the same issue. Anything with https will not work currently.
