Q: Support of default hive partitioning layout with gcs

Hello PXF team,

First of all I'd like to thank you for making PXF so great product, it's really awesome!

I have a question please - is there on PXF roadmap or a plan to support partitioned data stored on Google Storage similarly to BQ external tables? Description can be found here: https://cloud.google.com/bigquery/docs/hive-partitioned-queries-gcs? That would enable another level of usage GCS usage with PXF/GPDB.

Thanks @akotuc. We currently are planning on Hive 3 support, and PXF HA. Once we wrap these we can potentially spike on this and get back to you. Timeline wise, late summer.
