Is analog required in non dev cases ?

Is it possible to remove analog from required dependencies and use it only in require-dev ?

Or is it possible to make it optional ?

In the doc it says :

External dependencies

The parser is a self contained class. It has no external dependencies. The parser uses a small amount of regex.
