Feature request: Allow comparisons of different usage scenarios and commits

I would like to make comparisons of measurement runs that are based on different usage scenarios and different commits. That is currently not supported by GMT.

Arne already proposed a solution in https://github.com/green-coding-solutions/green-metrics-tool/issues/737#issuecomment-2050318798:

What I could see is a parameter appended to the API request that can be configured on the settings page that would allow "all" comparisons (https://metrics.green-coding.io/settings.html)

It would be great if the solution also works with the comparison feature on the repositories page.
