Better describe the concept of the "Green Code Initiative" collective

I am a newbie. I want to carry out a POC on this. For that I need to understand the concept of green code initiative in depth. Gone through the readme file but I am still not clear with the whole concept. Can anyone help me understand it more clearly?

Hi @vsrucha , Green Code initiative is an open-source collective created to promote green coding. Green coding is a sub-part of eco-design focusing exclusively on programming to developers and technical teams. For the moment, the collective host 1 projet : ecoCode This projet is cut in many sub-projects, that's why you can see 15 repositories under Green Code Initiative organization. But we are thinking and discussing to integrate others external projects related to green coding to pool resources / knowledge, and create interactions between projects.

The main concept of the collective is to promote tools for writing low-carbon softwares (also called green coding).

if you have more specific questions about the collective or the ecoCode project, do not hesitate to ask me. I will be happy to answer them and also to update the readme file to be sure everything is clear to any new person interested in this subject.
