Firmware feature request/suggest: Spectral Scan outside ISM bands

Naturally the regular firmware won't allow tuning outside ISM bands, but... What is the possibility of removing firmware tuning limits when (receive-only) spectral scan is enabled?

I appreciate that:

• There are analog bandpass filters on the radios, set around 2.4 / 5.8 , limiting performance out of band.
• Presumably there are limits on what frequencies the tuner PLLs will generate. .. but I'll take what I can get in this department. ...is this an intriguing idea?

Naturally no transmitting allowed... although if you forget to implement that lockout I definitely won't post a bug report ;-)
