Add 'classic' game menu

Thank you for this game! Its really nice, tried a bit around and enjoyed it so far.

I'd like to suggest adding a proper menu-screen (suitable also for ESC-Screen ). Even kept simple, this would improve usability.

Suggested Layout

  • A logo or Title at the top
  • Options
    • New Game
    • Settings
    • Exit

When opened ingame with ESC for example, an additional option appears

  • Continue

Details

New game leads to a settings screen to choose

  • Game mode
  • Stage
  • Daytime
  • Car selection: Opens the car selection screen that the option for the trailer.

Additionally, in the car selection there could be an extra button for Car Customization, where players can customize their car, e.g., by changing its color.

Settings

  • Graphics: add some graphic controls
    • Resolution settings - Dropdown
    • Full screen, windowed mode, windowed full screen - Dropdown as well?
    • Textures (?)
    • Anti-Aliasing
    • Framerate Limit
  • Audio: Basic Audio-Control
    • Volume sliders
      • Master
      • Music
      • Sound effects
  • Settings
    • Language
    • HUD
    • Controls
      • Layout configuration for Controller and Keyboard

Exit Well, closing the game :D (Currently on windows i have to use ALT-F4 )

I think a menu like this would make the game feel more polished and provide a more intuitive way to start the game. Also allows for easy expanding, i think.

If you like i can try to get a mockup going, but i'm not a graphics designer or student or anything. :p

I forgot that this game is available on mobile as well. Mobile would also benefit from a classic menu as well. Some of the stuff like the graphics stuff could be greyed-out so it is not able to change anything on mobile, for example.

A preliminary classic game menu is now available in version 1.2.0.

Nice, i like it so far. At Settings there is something next to it, looks like encoding?

The "Exit" is apreciated as well :D Do you want further suggestions on the current version or just be patient for now and wait?

With 1.2.10 these errors are still there.

Additionally, i think the game would benefit if the menu would be center/center and not left/top. That way it should also work with Smartphone and Tablet, i think?

What about the changes for settings-menu? I think that would also help.
