Set Default Startpage

It is not immediately obvious to me how to set default startpage for LDAP users. If it's possible, could it be documented, and if not could the feature be added?

Yeah, the startpage can currently only be set by the users themselves. We should add the feature.

What is the status of this issue? Will there be a more thorough API (even if there was no complete UI yet) for this and other admin/user related settings?
