Category for Streams

The 0.x versions have an stream category system. It's great to sort prod and dev streams. Would be great if categories are back in 0.20 version.

In preview.7 I have seen some inputs for categories, but they didn't work.

This is definitely to come, but right now we are in a prelease bugfixing phase, so I'm scheduling this for 0.20.1.

Are categories intended to group streams for clarity?

Has it been introduced in 0.20.1 ? I upgraded yesterday but still cannot see categories.

Thank you! This is scheduled for 0.21 and was not released with 0.20.1. (yes, the numbers are a bit confusing :D)

In addition, please allow user autorisation based on categories.

yes, or rather granting users permissions for specific categories. That way when we add a new stream we can just add it to a category, and we don't have to update all our user permissions

It's currently not on the roadmap, mostly due to other things taking priority.
