Need to improve timeout part

I would like to understand the relation of these timeout configuration : ( like >, <, >=, <= )

Timeout in Failover

Timeout in Group Configuration :

Connect timeout Read timeout Idle timeout

The objectif is to correctly tuning these timeouts in regard of behavior of backend service.
