This might be because the feature type with this address is Address, not Building (as it is for 1050 Valencia which does show up in our autocomplete).
Trying this again now, 1 Hill Street _does_ come up, but it's not prioritized well. It doesn't appear in any of the 8 results we fetch for: "1 hill st"...
