Huge menu section line separator in vscode

I've seen this before from a few other applications. I forget what exactly caused it (padding applied to the separator element), but I do recall the application itself overriding the GTK theme for whatever it thinks would look better.

I'll try to take a look at this, but don't count on there being a fix because I recall running into a dead end due to the application forcing its own theme.
